YouTube video

Check out our final preview for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the upcoming action-RPG from Team Ninja (makers of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden).

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty might be an action game, but after playing through brand new areas for about five hours, I went away realizing that it innovates on the exploration loop in Soulsborne games, more than anything else. Previewed by Esra Krabbe.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on March 3, 2023 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass day one. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is January 2023’s IGN First! Stay tuned for more exclusive coverage.

  4. The concept of this game is perfect but the character animations look too fast and unnatural.

They should really fix this cuz it looks weird.

  5. for some reason the combat looks LESS polished than nioh 1-2 , which is a real bummer, the hitboxes when connecting feels off, the weapons hitting the enemy feels less satisfying, and the damage numbers is smaller than nioh

  6. The only annoying thing so far is, that Microsoft store players can't have crossplay with steam users.

  7. Looks kind of mid, or maybe the souls-like games have worn thin….they've whored it out like Dante and Cloud, at this point. From an anime souls, to a Lovecraftian souls…..so pirates next? or vikings? It all feels a bit too saturated.

  8. 6:54 You can actually parry the blazing bull in Sekiro too, running around is probably the worse way of doing the fight.

  9. The Chinese people made Genshin Impact which is named in Japanese, and the Japanese made Wo Long which is named in Chinese.

  10. Hope it will not be like Nioh and you have to go trough the same level over and over again an fight the same mobs and bosses over and over again…
