  1. F2P games can be easily successful with cosmetics look at POE, sure you can buy stash tabs as well which will run you like 20$ to get the bare minimum and lets be honest we have all spend more on games that has been ALOT worse

  2. The games quest design is hot garbage. This has quest mechanics from 20 years ago. Go here talk to this guy. Now go kill 8 monsters. Go talk to the guy again. Now go tell this other guy you talked to previous guy. Rinse and repeat and that's the whole campaign. Sometimes you'll have to pick up a box and move it from one place to another so those are extra fun.

  3. thanks for making this video. I ben playing lost ark for about 10 hours now and im all most to lvl 50. There are so many things to do it is overwhelming me but after watching this i understand what to do. They need a better learning Quest or videos in the game that techiest you how to use some of this stuff then readying text. I'm a hands-on kind of guy . but if i have to grind for mats and then fail all the time to get better upgrades for the gear then ill just stick and go back to world of warcraft.

  4. Great review, watched the whole thing. My only thought is yes, the game is F2P, but if the game had no monetisation, how would they make money and justify creating the game in the first place? It’s still a business and not many companies do things for free

  5. Don't get why this game blew up, doesn't bring anything new to the table that other mmos havent already done , not to mention a serious graphics outdate for the current year we are in . Can someone fill me in?

  6. Tried it.. its ok but thats it.. the levelling is mind numbing and boring and the game is drowned with systems and currencies… its the classic do boring chores everyday to keep up mmo

  7. So, I just hit 50 and I can say without a doubt that the leveling in Lost Ark is just about if not the worst I've ever experienced in any MMO I can think of… or really most any game. Linear, mandatory, insultingly and frustratingly easy. I can't recommend the game to anyone who's not willing to slog through 20-40+ hours of intensely boring fetch quests while suffering horrible writing and constantly having your agency subverted at every turn. If that sounds like a stiff price to pay for a f2p KMMORPG with heavy cash shop elements that MIGHT turn out to be fun in the endgame, turn back now.

  8. Thanks for the Information and insight into this game I can see why I might quit this game in the near future there aren't any Oceanic servers yet so I'm stuck on the west coast of the states. hopefully the lag won't be to bad.

  9. So I have played about 60 hours so far just on na servers and I cannot find a good class to play. They all feel super clunky . Also way too simple can anyone give me some advice about a high skill ceiling or mood fluid feeling class ?

  10. even if it is a free game, i simply cannot get myself to play this as ive seen other great f2p games with amazing mtx systems (Path of Exile). being dependant on luck or money to progress is unacceptable to me

  11. That gunlance looks awfully similar to Monster hunter lol. Even down to the charge and short range explosion shot.

  12. Hi, you got, 2 minutes into this video befor i knew lost ark wasnt for me.

first off its korean not international, nothing anyone will ever say will influence anything.
please youtube stop recommending a game i dont care about.

  13. This game has achieved what almost no game can. It created a combat system so good, i want every future hack and slay game to adapt it.
The visuals are very nice too.

    But thats it.
Everything else in this game is such a clusterfuck of tedium, convoluted systems, grind and game design that clashes with its philosophy of being a mmo at every corner, that i cant possibly understand the prestige it has earned from the community.
This game managed to encompass every carnal sin of videogame design to such a degree that i got the impression the developers were testing out how awful they can design a game around their amazing combat before everything crumbles to dust.

At this point i have around 100h of game time and i just cant continue. Every second im not doing combat im questioning my existence and even while in combat im constantly asking myself what the heck im progressing towards.

We have over 30years of MMO game design history to draw from and all we got is "this". What the hell happened?

  14. The biggest problem is the queue time. If you are a working person, have a social life and live in EU, you can't play this game bc you have to wait up to 6 hrs if you want to play this game in the evening. You literally have to either stay in the game all day with an afk macro or start the game from work via teamviewer a view hrs before you get home. There are no servers with no queue time and I don't wanna wait hrs before I can enter the game just to play 1-2 hrs till I have to sleep bc I got a fking life!

  15. Free game, I’d say everyone give it a try if they can. Game wasn’t for me personally but it may be a gem for some people.

  16. Level 1-50 – That is the small TUTORIAL part.

Endgame is not Tier 1 or Tier 2.

    Endgame BEGINS at 1340+ GearScore.

TRUE Endgame BEINGS at 1490+ GearScore.

  17. I have a bunch of friends playing this so I tried it because it was free, played for 7 minutes then stopped and uninstalled.

  18. What I like about this game so far, is it seems like physical damage dealers still have spells and abilities, unlike in some games, that will remain nameless, they abilities are just varied versions of more physical damage for….. oh 10 expansions.

  19. People that are literally skipping over the cash shop… its a free game… how they gonna pay for all that server capacity/maintenance. Its easy to point and say yeah its got a cash shop, yet youre not paying anything to actually play the entire game. Right now I know a few people who swiped their way up, they cant raid at all, nobody else swiped LOL, they are literally stuck at the high tiers and nobody is even close to the tiers and now the player that swiped his way up literally has nothing to do. Wow, they sure won the game. 😉

Would you rather pay for a sub to play? Servers dont run on air and cost way too much to operate.

  20. WHy do they keep calling this an MMO? WHen there are 1 million + ppl playing but you cant interact except with max 6 people in 1 map. Also these are instances not a world.
