“Rise of the Third Power is a retro-themed, console-style roleplaying game, loosely based on the political climate of Europe in the late 1930’s. The story takes place in the land of Rin during the height of the Age of Sail, following the events that would lead to the greatest war in human history.”

  1. Will you be taking on the epic journey of Rise of the Third Power? Thank you so much for supporting click-bait free independent content!

  2. Great review in my opinion.

I’m hearing names like Suikoden and FFVI. That’s very bold lol i’m highly interested in this game right now. Hope this game will leave up to expectation.

I live for political intrigues in rpgs.

  3. Rise of the Third Power definitely gave me the Golden Sun vibes back when I used to play it as a kid. Delightful to see more and more JRPGs are still being developed!

  4. This looks really awesome! My backlog is killing me! I don’t know how u guys do it, but u do it well! Great review!

  5. Not gonna lie, I almost fell out of my chair when you said they also developed, Ara Fell!

I recently came across that on GOG but now I got a bundle to look forward to playing. Thanks Joe and the team for what you do!

  6. While I'm not usually into these sorts of stories or these sorts of games, it's good to hear that it works really well and seems to be great for fans of the genre or those who like these sorts of stories. I will admit, I didn't think much of it when I first saw an article on it, but it's nice to hear that it's surpassed expectations in a good way. Despite not being into these sorts of games, maybe I'll try this one sometime, given the fact it got a golden genie lamp due to how exceptional it is. And as always, I appreciate the review.

  7. I'm really on stand for this game. It's something that interests me but I have so many games I need to beat. Haha Then I just picked up Ni no kuni wrath of the white witch for $10. That's a game I've been holding on for a VERY long time. I saw it for $10 so I felt it was time to finally get it. The other game I'm thinking I'll pick up is Oceans Heart for $15. I'm a big top down RPG Zelda fan and everytime I'm taken to Link to the past. I plan to keep this game on my radar though.
