Why and for what? The game is already 2D. I get a minimap in a 3D game where you need it to help make sense of the twirling camera, but why?

I'm angry with Square Enix, because their pixel remasters are so lazy.
The brightness on the overworld was a slight turn off because its too bright for a dark game but I am liking the Town lighting sofar!
